Alanson & Petoskey Railroad

Little Traverse Scenic Railway

Little Traverse Scenic Railway operated passenger service during 1988 and 1989 from Alanson to Bayview

Alanson & Petoskey RR was incorporated Jul. 31, 1990, to operate the former Michigan Northern (Penn Central: GR&I) line between Alanson and Conway.

Apparently it was a tourist only railroad, and it didn't last very long (4 years).

Rolling stock was purchased and is operated by the Buckley Railroad

They traded the  SW1 off, and it is now running on the Mineral Range RR in Marquette.
