Michigan & Western Railroad Company
Michigan & Western Railroad is a Green Bay & Western Railroad Subsidiary that was formed in an attempt to
operate the State of Michigan owned ex Ann Arbor railroad line.
Michigan & Western is still a paper railroad

In the model railroad or Train Sim world, the M&W took over operation of the former Michigan Interstate line from Frankfort to Ann Arbor,
the former Michigan Northern (GR&I) line from Grand Rapids to Petoskey, C&O lines to Traverse City, and C&O lines from Grand Rapids to Manistee
M&W motive power consists of purchased or leased Alco & MLW locomotives.
