Pinconning & Blind River Steam Engine #5661 leaving the 140-ft. tunnel with a mixed load of logs and passengers. This scenic miniature railroad in the woods off of M33 near Fairview, Michigan, operates on 2 ½ miles of main line, plus sidings and a branch to the owners sawmill.
Motive Power of the Pinconning & Blind River R.R. at the passenger station south of M33 near Fairview, Michigan. The steam engine is a 6 ton Hudson type 4-6-4 used for heavy service. The one ton Diesel handles the light freight and passenger work.
Steam powered passenger train of the Pinconning & Blind River R.R. crossing 120 ft. Golden trestle. The Blind River route has 2 ½ miles of main line thru the forest near Fairview, Michigan. Passenger trains operate from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. on Saturdays and Sundays in June; and Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays during July and August thru Labor Day.
