Oct 1982 designated by the State of Michigan to operate former Ann Arbor line from Ann Arbor to Alma.

In March 2006 the Tuscola and Saginaw Bay Railway was purchased by Federated Railways, Inc.

and has changed their name to Great Lakes Central Railroad
